English as a Second Language
FIELD began offering ESL classes throughout California in September 2000 in partnership with various community colleges. We currently offer FREE ESL classes through an ISA with the College of Siskiyous.

CLASS DETAILS
- Multiple locations - both morning and evening
- Five days a week - three hours each day
- Morning classes - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Evening classes - 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Each class runs for 6 weeks - students can continue to enroll in a class for as long as needed
- Students who register and join FIELD ESL classes are also registered as students with College of Siskiyous
- Classes are completely FREE
- Taught by instructors who meet the college’s minimum qualifications
- Classes are multi-level - offer instruction in ESL 1, ESL 2, and ESL 3
- Students from the different levels get an opportunity to interact with students from other levels for faster progress

Upon completion, students receive a Career Development & College Preparation (CDCP) certificate - presented by College of Siskiyous & FIELD
Students who participate & progress through the levels in our FIELD ESL program acquire both the skills to communicate effectively in the English language, as well as have the opportunity to earn the certificate of completion for CDCP.
